Prof M. S. Swaminathan says “ The youth can be attracted to and retained in farming only if it becomes economically rewarding and intellectually satisfying”. It put onus upon the Government to draw schemes that accommodate young aspiring population in Agriculture, that it reduces unemployment, migration and ensuring food security.
